The second team travelled to newly promoted Dringhouses with another young team. With exams on, injuries, holidays and general unavailability meaning wholesale changes it was never going to be an easy task.

Getting put in against a strong bowling attack we soon lost wickets with the exception of Andy Thornhill who played very well for a deserving 52. The youngsters did their best but were undone by experience.

TABS all out for 109.

After tea TABS took to the field. Wickets for Rowan Smith and Rob Williams along with a run out from Ollie Culloden featuring in the reply. Dringhouses winning by 7 wickets.

Experience for the juniors in defeat, however, we need points sooner rather than later.

Thanks to Emma for scoring.

Next week at home to New Earswick.

Training continues on Wednesday evening.
